Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) has announced that it has commissioned 793 new 11kV substations across the emirate during the first six months. The construction and associated works involved 624,340 man-hours, all completed under stringent safety standards.
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) has invested over AED10 billion ($2.72 billion) in power transmission network projects across the emirate, said its top official. The utility commissioned eight 132kV substations in H1 with a combined conversion capacity of 1,200MVA.
Saudi Energy (formerly Saudi Electricity Company) has invited bids from leading utility developers and energy project specialists for setting up 380kV substations and associated overhead transmission lines (OHTL) related to upcoming Renewable Energy Projects across Saudi Arabia.
