Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) has awarded a three-year integrated drilling services contract to Weatherford covering the drilling of 274 wells in the Marmul and Greater Saqar areas of Oman. The contract forms part of PDO’s plans to increase oil production, improve drilling efficiency and optimize the development of small fields through a unified development model.
