Oman’s low-cost carrier SalamAir has launched its first direct flight between Muscat and Sylhet, Bangladesh, becoming the first foreign airline to operate scheduled services to the city.
SalamAir has opened ticket sales for a new direct service between Muscat and Erbil, with flights set to begin on October 25, 2026. The twice-weekly route will make Erbil the Omani low-cost carrier’s second destination in Iraq, following Baghdad.
