Oman and Yemen have signed two agreements in Salalah to advance an electricity interconnection project linking Dhofar with Yemen’s Al Mahra. The project will supply power to Hawf, Shahn and Al Ghaydah, strengthening energy security and supporting development.
The Gulf Cooperation Council Interconnection Authority (GCCIA) and the Ministry of Electricity of the Republic of Iraq have discussed the final preparations for launching the electricity interconnection project between the two entities.
