The fourth AlUla Trail Race in 2026 edition drew over 1,500 athletes from 44 countries, competing across six distances from the 1.6km Kids Run to the 100km Ultra Trail.

Part of the AlUla Moments calendar, the event showcased the region’s iconic landscapes, including sandstone formations, Elephant Rock, Maraya, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hegra.

Runners of all ages finished in AlUla’s Old Town, joining a fan village celebration with family and friends.

Ziad AlSuhaibani, Chief Sports Officer at Royal Commission for AlUla, said: “The AlUla Trail Race is unique in its ability to bring athletes of all ages from around the world to our city for a truly stunning spectacle of sport. With such a strong turnout of runners, each completing their goals through our breathtaking trails, we thank all our participants and partners in making this year’s event a testament to the power of community sport.” -TradeArabia News Service
