Ampo Arabia to manufacture 1,200 valves for Aramco’s Zuluf development

Ampo Arabia has secured the largest single order in the history of its Dammam 2nd Industrial City manufacturing plant, signing an agreement with international EPC contractor C.A.T. Group to locally manufacture up to 1,200 highly engineered valves.

The valves will support Aramco’s strategic Zuluf offshore oil field development, one of Saudi Arabia’s largest energy expansion projects.

The agreement highlights C.A.T. Group’s confidence in Ampo Arabia’s local manufacturing capabilities and reinforces the company’s role in delivering critical infrastructure for the Kingdom’s energy sector.

The project aligns with Aramco’s In-Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) programme and Saudi Vision 2030, which aim to boost local manufacturing and industrial diversification.

Located about 40 kilometres off Saudi Arabia’s north-eastern coast, the Zuluf field is undergoing a major expansion to increase production capacity through new processing facilities, offshore platforms and associated infrastructure. -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
