The Red Sea Museum, under the Saudi Museums Commission, one of the eleven sector specific commissions of the Saudi Ministry of Culture, presents a curated programme of creative and cultural activities throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
The Red Sea Museum, part of Saudi Arabia’s Museums Commission under the Ministry of Culture, will present Sunken Treasures: The Maritime Heritage of the Red Sea from February 25 to May 29, 2026.
The Museum Commission has opened the Red Sea Museum in the restored Bab Al Bunt building within Historic Jeddah. The museum showcases over 1,000 artifacts across 23 galleries, celebrating the Red Sea’s cultural, historical, and natural heritage.
The Museums Commission announced that the Red Sea Museum will open to the public on December 6, 2025, in the heart of Historic Jeddah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
