Global utility major Acwa Power has announced that it has secured initial commercial operation certificates from Sidra First Electricity Company in Madinah and Qudra First Electricity Company for key units of its power projects - Taiba 1 and Qassim 1 - in Saudi Arabia that has a combined generating capacity of 2,555 MW.
