Fluor Corporation announced that its JGC Fluor BC LNG II joint venture (JFJV2), in partnership with JGC Corporation, has received a limited notice to proceed (LNTP) for the proposed Phase 2 expansion of the LNG Canada export facility in Kitimat, British Columbia.
Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (“K” LINE) has named its new 174,000-cubic-metre LNG carrier, Diamond Gas Jade, at Samsung Heavy Industries. The vessel, owned by a joint venture, will support the LNG Canada Project involving Mitsubishi Corporation.
Fluor Corporation announced that Fluor, with its Joint Venture partner JGC Corporation, has completed Train 2 of the LNG Canada Project, marking the completion of the first phase of Canada’s first LNG mega-project in Kitimat, British Columbia, Canada.
