Etihad Airways will operate its new Abu Dhabi–Gothenburg service year-round following strong early demand, extending the route beyond its planned winter schedule. Travellers from western Sweden are booking connections to Abu Dhabi, the Gulf, Asia and the Indian subcontinent.
Etihad Airways has announced a new seasonal service linking Abu Dhabi and Gothenburg, Sweden, beginning December 17, 2026. The route will operate four times weekly through March 21, 2027, providing Gothenburg with its first direct air connection to Asia.
