US inventories of crude oil, gasoline and distillates increased in the week ending September 11, according to data from the American Petroleum Institute. Crude stocks rose by 7.1 million barrels, while gasoline inventories increased by 1.5 million barrels and distillates climbed by 1.6 million barrels week-on-week.
Saudi oil giant Aramco has announced the launch of its 98-octane gasoline product, which will begin supplying in January 2026 as part of efforts to expand consumer fuel options and diversify its product portfolio without affecting existing products in the market.
