Construction of the Riyadh Metro Red Line extension has reached a major milestone with the completion of manufacturing and factory acceptance testing of the tunnel boring machine (TBM) that will be used to excavate the King Saud University-Diriyah Gate underground section, said a report.
Work is moving at a steady pace on the King Abdulaziz Road underpass in Riyadh with 88% excavation works already completed. This comes as part of the kingdom’s efforts to boost connectivity between project destinations and improve mobility along Prince Mohammed bin Salman Road.
Malaysian group WCT Holdings (WCT) has announced that its key subsidiary has secured a sub-contract worth RM529 million ($130.2 million) in a joint venture with UAE-based Construction General Contracting House for the construction of the Yas Living development in Abu Dhabi, said a report.
