Six international consulting groups have submitted proposals for a Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) contract to study and design a proposed Airport Express Line linking Dubai International Airport (DXB) with Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC).

The route marks SolitAir's entry into Kyrgyzstan and extends the carrier's presence deeper into Central Asia.
Dubai International (DXB) airport achieved the highest quarterly traffic in its 65-year history in Q3 2025, welcoming 24.2 million guests between July and September – a 1.9% increase year-on-year.
