SGP Container Terminals, a subsidiary of Saudi Global Ports Group (together with its subsidiaries, SGP), has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 15 million TEUs in cumulative container throughput handled at King Abdulaziz Port Dammam (KAPD) since commencing operations in 2015.
Saudi-based East Pipes has announced plans to set up a new external steel pipe coating line at its plant in Dammam following the go-ahead from the company's board. The move is aimed at boosting the plant's current nominal production capacity from 4 million sq m to 8 million sq m per year.
