DC Aviation Al-Futtaim (DCAF) has secured CAR-145 maintenance approval from San Marino’s Civil Aviation Authority, expanding its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities at Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport and enabling support for T7-registered private and commercial aircraft.
Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects (DAEP) has selected a consortium of India's Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Japan's Mitsubishi Corporation to deliver the automated people-mover (APM) system for the $35 billion expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport, said a report.
Dubai has confirmed that the first phase of Al Maktoum International Airport remains on track for a 2032 opening, with major construction milestones achieved and AED13 billion ($3.5 billion) in contracts underway as preparations advance for future awards worth AED55 billion ($15 billion).
