Kuwait Airways has announced the resumption of its scheduled flights to Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Kochi in India via King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, in Saudi Arabia.
Passengers will be transported by land through the Nuwaiseeb border crossing.
Flights to Ahmedabad will commence on 5th April with one flight per week on Saturdays, to Kochi starting on 6th April with two flights per week on Mondays and Wednesdays, to Delhi on 7th April with one flight per week on Tuesdays, and to Mumbai starting on 10th April with one flight per week on Fridays.
This comes as part of a series of destinations recently launched by Kuwait Airways via Dammam, including London, Cairo, Istanbul, Lahore, and Amman, bringing the total number of destinations served by the company to nine.
Kuwait Airways Acting Chief Executive Officer, Captain Abdulwahab Ibrahim Al-Shatti stated, “Kuwait Airways is pleased to announce the resumption of its flights to the Republic of India, as the national carrier continues to add new destinations to its daily flight schedule. This comes alongside a range of other key destinations, particularly in light of the current circumstances, and in response to the growing demand in the local market, reflecting the company’s commitment to meeting the requirements of its customers.”
Al-Shatti stated that Kuwait Airways continues to implement its operational plans with a high level of efficiency to ensure the smooth flow of travel.
He noted that the company has recently mobilised all available resources and systems to begin receiving travel requests and subsequently operating flights to specific destinations.
He further highlighted that the company has introduced a service for submitting visa applications for residents travelling to the Saudi Arabia, provided that they hold prior bookings on Kuwait Airways flights.
He explained that Kuwait Airways in cooperation with Al Khiran Mall, will offer exclusive deals for passengers on a selection of brands at the Al Khiran mall, giving them the opportunity to shop at special prices before their departure.
Al-Shatti concluded by stating that the company is working continuously with relevant authorities inside and outside the State of Kuwait to ensure the best operational solutions, emphasising that the safety and security of passengers and flight crew remain the national carrier’s top priority. -TradeArabia News Service
