dnata takes Opulence by Ahlan Arabia luxury roadshow to France

dnata Representation Services, part of Dubai-based dnata Travel Group, will host the next edition of its luxury travel roadshow, Opulence by Ahlan Arabia, in Courchevel, France, this December, marking the event’s first edition outside the Middle East.

The destination is gaining popularity among GCC travellers, with the Middle East now Courchevel’s third-largest international source market after the UK and US. Visitors from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait are contributing significantly to the destination’s growing appeal.

Located within Les Trois Vallées, the world’s largest linked ski area, Courchevel is known for luxury hospitality, exclusive experiences and premium winter tourism. International travellers account for around 70% of visitors.

Previously held in Dubai, Qatar and Oman, the three-day roadshow will bring together luxury travel buyers and international suppliers for business meetings, networking and destination experiences.

The event is expected to attract 80 hosted buyers from across the GCC, Egypt and Jordan, alongside 40 international exhibitors representing luxury hotels, destinations, tourism boards and travel brands from France, Europe and other global markets.

Rakhi Purohit, Head of dnata Representation Services, commented: “Hosting the third edition of Opulence by Ahlan Arabia in Courchevel gives the event a fitting home in one of the world's most renowned luxury destinations, offering guests an authentic and immersive ultra-luxury experience.”

Purohit added: “The Middle East is one of Courchevel's most important international markets, making it a natural choice for our first edition outside the GCC. Bringing together senior decision-makers from across the luxury travel sector will help foster new partnerships while showcasing the world-class hospitality, experiences and appeal that continue to attract travellers from the region.”

With buyers in attendance set to represent royal family offices, luxury concierge companies, travel agencies, MICE specialists and wedding planners, the event is designed to create valuable business connections between Middle East travel buyers and international luxury tourism partners.

Alexia Lainé, General Manager of Courchevel Tourism, said: “We are particularly delighted to welcome an international tourism event of the calibre of Opulence by Ahlan Arabia to Courchevel. This prestigious gathering perfectly reflects the values of excellence, elegance and hospitality that define our destination.”

Lainé concluded: “It represents a unique opportunity to showcase our expertise in hosting and organising international events, while further strengthening Courchevel's position as one of the world's leading high-end tourism destinations.” -TradeArabia News Service
