Emirates has introduced what it says is the world’s first electrically powered Premium Economy seat, featuring a full-height adjustable privacy screen between every seat.
The new seats will debut on newly delivered Airbus A350
aircraft.
The Premium Economy cabin has 28 seats in a 2-3-2
configuration, with seats measuring 20 inches wide and offering up to 39 inches
of pitch.
Passengers can raise or lower the privacy divider using
integrated seat controls and adjust seating positions, including dedicated
lounge and meal modes.
The new seats also feature wireless charging, USB-C power, a
phone holder and Emirates’ U-Dream headrest, alongside leather footrests.
Passengers can access the airline’s ice inflight
entertainment system through a 13.3-inch 4K HDR touchscreen.
The Premium Economy experience includes gourmet meals served
on Royal Doulton china, premium beverages and exclusive amenity kits featuring
Aveda skincare products.
Launched in 2022, Emirates Premium Economy is now available
across markets served by its A350 aircraft and has received multiple
international awards, including Best Premium Economy Class at the Business
Traveller Middle East Awards in 2024 and 2025. -TradeArabia News Service
