Naumi Hotel Dubai, the Singapore-based group’s first Middle East property, is now Autism-Friendly Certified in partnership with the Dubai Autism Centre.
The hotel offers sensory-considerate
spaces, safety measures, and Autism Kits, while engaging in inclusive programmes,
volunteer initiatives, and awareness campaigns to promote empathy, connection,
and social impact.
Arshiya Jhunjhnuwala, Regional Director for ESG at Naumi Group, shared, ‘Each of our properties serves as a gateway to the local community, and as our first in Dubai, we want to create deeper ties and a space where everyone feels truly welcomed. Our collaboration with the Dubai Autism Centre reflects this spirit of community, using hospitality as a way to inspire positive change and genuine engagement.’
Bassam Zakaria,
General Manager of Naumi Hotel Dubai, added,:"It has been a pleasure to work
alongside DAC and to be recognised with the Autism-Friendly Certification as we
strive to make Naumi Hotel Dubai a more inclusive, sensory-considerate place to
stay. Community engagement is what gives a property its soul, and our goal is
to create experiences shaped around guests’ needs in a way that also reflects
the city’s spirit and the UAE’s National Autism Policy. The training programme
has been deeply rewarding, giving us a new perspective on hospitality and
proving what can be achieved when people come together with compassion and
understanding." -TradeArabia News Service
