Shell invests in Nigeria offshore gas development

Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo) and Sunlink Energies have finalised investment in the HI gas project offshore Nigeria. The project will supply 350 million standard cubic feet of gas daily at peak production to Nigeria LNG, enhancing global liquefied natural gas exports.

Adnoc finalises strategic investment plan for SARB Deep Gas project

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) has announced the Final Investment Decision (FID) for the SARB Deep Gas Development, a strategic project located offshore of UAE capital. The development will deliver 200 million standard cubic feet per day (scfd) of gas before the end of the decade.

Saudi Steel Pipe unit inks supply contract with Subsea Seven

Saudi Steel Pipe Company said its key subsidiary has secured a major contract from Subsea Seven (SS7), a global leader in offshore energy engineering and construction, to supply its specialised line pipes for one of their offshore projects. The entire delivery work will be completed in 11 months.

McDermott eyes $1.5bn Adnoc offshore EPC contracts

McDermott International is set to secure multiple offshore engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), with a combined value estimated at up to $1.5 billion. These awards are linked to ADNOC’s ongoing offshore oil and gas expansion programme and reinforce McDermott’s strong positioning in the Middle East offshore EPC market.

QatarEnergy acquires interest in new exploration block offshore Lebanon

QatarEnergy has signed an agreement with the Lebanese government, TotalEnergies, and Eni to enter into an exploration block offshore Lebanon. Under the terms of the agreements, QatarEnergy will acquire 30 per cent of Block 8, while TotalEnergies (the operator) and Eni will each hold 35 per cent.
