The UAE Ministry of Culture announced the inscription of five national heritage sites on ICESCO’s Islamic World Tangible Heritage List during the 13th Islamic World Heritage Committee meeting in Uzbekistan. The sites include Saruq Al Hadid in Dubai and four locations in Sharjah: Al Faya, Khorfakkan’s historic towers and forts, Al Nahwa, and Wadi Al Helo.
