Oman has begun implementing RO105 million ($273 million) road projects in North A'Sharqiyah Governorate as it expands the country's transport infrastructure under its Vision 2040 strategy. These include building of new roads, expansion of existing network and the dualisation of key highways.
Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed maintenance and rehabilitation works spanning 17 km of asphalt roads across nine streets and six areas in Dubai early this month. The works covered highways, freeways and internal roads in key industrial, commercial and residential areas.
