A consortium of Saudi utility giant Acwa Power and US group Air Products has completed construction work on the $8.5-billion green hydrogen project at Oxagon within Saudi Arabia’s mega futuristic city NEOM, and commercial operations are set to begin next year, said a report.
Air Products announced plans to build, own and operate a air separation unit in Cocoa, Florida, producing liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and argon, with the plant expected to begin operations in the second half of 2028.
Air Products and Yara International plan to combine their strengths in low-emission hydrogen and global ammonia distribution to accelerate large-scale clean ammonia production.
