Rixos Murjana to open as Saudi’s largest ultra all-inclusive resort

Rixos Murjana, enabled by Saudi Arabia’s Tourism Development Fund (TDF),  is set to open in King Abdullah Economic City as the largest ultra all-inclusive resort in Saudi Arabia and a landmark destination along the Red Sea coast.

It comprises 488 rooms and suites—many with sea views—alongside 33 villas, all supported by extensive hospitality, wellness, and recreational facilities.

Designed around a fully integrated all-inclusive model, Rixos Murjana emphasises personalised service and global luxury standards.

Its architecture draws on traditional Hijazi coastal design, reinterpreted through a modern and sustainable aesthetic.

Guests seeking greater exclusivity can stay at Club Privé by Rixos, which offers private villas with butler service, dedicated amenities, and exclusive access to a private Club House and Beach Club.

The resort prioritises relaxation, featuring the longest swimming pools in the Middle East and the Solara Beach Club for daytime leisure.

The Anjana Spa offers a range of wellness treatments across 12 treatment rooms, steam rooms, saunas, and couples’ suites.

Dining options span multiple international cuisines, with signature venues including Terra Mare, Piazzetta Italiana, MykOrini, and People’s Restaurant, alongside the upscale Godiva Café.

For families, Rixos Murjana introduces Saudi Arabia’s first fully integrated hotel waterpark, Murjana Waterpark, featuring 11 attractions, including a wave pool, river adventure pool, and splash zones.

The resort also includes supervised kids’ and teens’ clubs with structured activities, while adults can access advanced fitness facilities, including CrossFit, yoga, and separate gyms.

Qusai Al-Fakhri, Chief Executive Officer of the Tourism Development Fund, said: “Rixos Murjana embodies the Fund’s vision to empower the private sector and attract foreign direct investment, and represents a qualitative step in developing exceptional  tourism destinations along the Red Sea coast. Fettah Tamince, Chairman of Rixos Hotels, said: “The opening of Rixos Murjana marks a defining milestone for Rixos Hotels in Saudi Arabia and reflects our continued confidence in Saudi vision 2030 for tourism. As the largest all-inclusive destination in the country, Rixos Murjana brings together scale, innovation, and elevated guest experiences from overwater villas and world-class leisure facilities to family-focused entertainment, setting a new benchmark for all-inclusive hospitality on the Red Sea coast.” -TradeArabia News Service
