Dr Mazen IVF Centre wins JCI accreditation

Dr Mazen IVF Centre, a fertility clinic accredited by the UAE Ministry of Health, has received quality accreditation from Joint Commission International (JCI), a global body known for evaluating healthcare organisations against internationally accepted standards.

The accreditation was conferred during a healthcare accreditation ceremony held in Sharjah.

JCI accreditation is awarded to healthcare facilities that demonstrate compliance with defined benchmarks related to patient safety, clinical governance, and ethical medical practices. With this approval, the centre becomes part of a limited group of fertility clinics in the UAE that have met these international criteria.

The ceremony in Sharjah was attended by healthcare officials, accreditation authorities, and representatives from across the medical sector, recognising institutions that have undergone formal evaluation processes to improve care delivery in the country.

Dr Mazen Dayeh, founder and medical director of the centre, accepted the accreditation on behalf of the clinical and administrative teams. Speaking at the ceremony, he said the accreditation followed an extensive review of clinical procedures, patient care systems, and internal quality measures. Dr Dayeh stated that the outcome reflects continued alignment with international clinical standards.

The centre offers fertility-related services such as IVF, ICSI, and IUI, along with support services that address the broader treatment journey. These services form part of the wider ecosystem of IVF in Dubai, which operates under national regulations and international oversight frameworks.

The accreditation also reflects the UAE’s ongoing efforts to strengthen healthcare quality through independent evaluation and globally recognised standards. JCI-accredited facilities are subject to periodic reassessment to ensure sustained compliance. - TradeArabia News Service
