TotalEnergies’ trading arm Totsa sold April-loading Oman crude via tender at a premium above $20/bbl to Dubai quotes, traders said. The tender offered up to 2 million barrels loading April 1–30 from Mina Al Fahal.
TotalEnergies has signed a preliminary agreement (Letter of Intent) with Glenfarne, the lead developer of the Alaska LNG project, for the long-term offtake of 2 million tonnes per year (Mtpa) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) over 20 years, subject to the project’s final investment decision.
Marsa LNG, a joint venture between TotalEnergies and Omani group OQ, said it had achieved a major construction milestone at its $1.6 billion LNG bunkering hub at Sohar Port with the installation of the roof of a major storage tank in what it called a significant step forward for the project.
TotalEnergies and Airbus, an aircraft manufacturer, have signed two clean firm power contracts to supply 3.3 TWh to all major Airbus sites located in Germany and the UK. The electricity supplied to Airbus into the next decade will have a baseload profile and come from new renewable assets with a capacity of 200 MW. This supply will cover half of the electricity needs of the sites concerned, starting from 2027.
TotalEnergies has signed agreements to acquire a 42.5 per cent operated interest in PEL104 Exploration license, located offshore Namibia, from Eight Offshore Investments Holdings (“Eight”) and Maravilla Oil & Gas. Located in the Lüderitz basin, PEL104 license covers an area of around 11,000 km2 offshore Namibia.
Chinese group Goldwind said it has completed the successful installation of the first wind turbine at the Riyah 2 project in southern Oman. The project is being developed by OQ Alternative Energy, a subsidiary of Oman’s state energy group OQ, in partnership with global major TotalEnergies.
Fugro has been awarded a contract to perform comprehensive geotechnical surveys for the NordSee Energies 1 offshore wind farm, a major renewable energy project being developed by TotalEnergies on the North Sea N-12.1 site.
TotalEnergies and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their cooperation, exchange expertise and conduct technical studies. The MoU includes studies related to new exploration opportunities in the country, for which TotalEnergies will mobilise its technical expertise.
TotalEnergies has signed two 15-year PPAs to supply 1 GW of solar power—around 28 TWh—to Google’s Texas data centres. The electricity will come from TotalEnergies’ Wichita (805 MW) and Mustang Creek (195 MW) solar sites, with construction starting in Q2 2026.
TotalEnergies has sold 50% of its 424 MW wind and solar portfolio in Greece to Asterion Industrial Partners, valuing the assets at €508 million ($1.4 million), or about €1.2 million per MW, while retaining joint ownership and operational control.
