Spain renewable power capacity to reach 218.1 GW in 2035

Spain is enhancing its clean energy transition with ambitious solar, wind, and hydrogen targets. The updated National Energy and Climate Plan aims for 81 per cent renewable electricity by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2050. Cumulative renewable capacity is expected to reach 218.1 GW by 2035, growing at a 9.1 per cent CAGR, according to GlobalData.
