Sharjah has announced a series of projects to construct and develop internal and main roads linking the emirates of Sharjah and Dubai at a cost of AED750 million ($204.22 million).

Sharjah authorities have confirmed that four Asian nationals have been injured in an incident at Khorfakkan Port after falling debris sparked a fire. A Nepali national was severely wounded, while three Pakistanis sustained minor injuries following a successful interception by UAE air defence systems.
