Omani authorities have announced the launch of a tender for the construction of a 30.8-km-long road network within the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (Sezad). The project covers several residential areas and the light and medium industries zone across seven sub-plans.
Sharjah is set to develop a new neighbourhood community in Jabal Al Ashkel area featuring hundreds of residential units and other amenities for which land has already been allocated, said a report. Also, construction work has begun on Al Dahiyat residential neighbourhood.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has signed an agreement with Emaar Properties for the expansion of Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall metro station. On completion, the station’s total area will increase to 8,500sq m with bigger entrances and pedestrian bridges as well as new escalators and lifts.
