The UAE has amended certain provisions of the Executive Regulation of the Federal Decree-Law on Value Added Tax (VAT), as part of its ongoing efforts to further develop the UAE's tax system to enhance tax transparency, improve the efficiency of implementation, and further align the VAT system with international best practices.
With all that is going on in the region, July might feel like a lifetime away. And so, when it comes to the UAE’s eInvoicing mandate, many organisations will be tempted to wait, perhaps even hope for a soft landing or informal grace period, as has been seen with previous regulatory changes.
