Marriott International has announced an exceptional year of growth across Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) in 2025 with more than 230 organic signings representing over 31,000 rooms. Marriott also added 170 properties and nearly 24,000 rooms across EMEA last year, contributing to a 7.8% net rooms growth in the region.
Marriott International has reached a milestone of 100 combined open and pipeline hotels in Saudi Arabia following the signing of an agreement with a fund managed by SEDCO Capital for a 1,100 room Courtyard by Marriott in Makkah.
Al Qimmah Hospitality and Marriott International signed five new hotel projects, adding over 2,700 rooms in Jeddah, Makkah, and Madinah. The move reinforces their commitment to Saudi Arabia’s growing tourism sector, featuring four of Marriott’s well-known brands.
