RHI Magnesita, a global leader in refractory products and services for the steel, cement, glass, and non-ferrous metals industries, has strengthened its operations in the Middle East, Türkiye and Africa region by setting up its regional head office in Dubai.
Cement sales in Saudi Arabia increased by 7.3% year on year (y-o-y) and 8.1% month-on-month (m-o-m) to 5.24 mt in October. This is the highest monthly sales since March 2021, said an Al Rajhi Capital research note.
Cement sales volumes across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia fell in December on both an annual and monthly basis, reflecting softer demand at year-end, although full-year volumes still posted strong growth driven by gains from leading producers, said a report.
