Arabian Drilling, the largest drilling contractor in Saudi Arabia by fleet size, has announced that it has clinched a major order from a new client in the GCC, thus underscoring its ability to leverage offshore expertise to expand into new regional markets.

Set to begin operations by the end of the third quarter, the contract is expected to add to Arabian Drilling's backlog, improve revenue visibility and support its long-term earnings, said the company in a statement.

The deal follows the early completion of Arabian Drilling's first international offshore drilling contract and the redeployment of the jack-up rig to another GCC country, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
