flyadeal opens contest to design commemorative 50th aircraft livery

Saudi low-cost carrier flyadeal, part of Saudia Group, has launched a global contest to design a commemorative livery for its 50th aircraft, an Airbus A320neo due for delivery in mid-2027.

The winning design will be painted on the aircraft, showcasing the creator’s work across flyadeal’s growing domestic and international network.

The winner will also receive two complimentary round-trip tickets to any flyadeal destination, three nights’ hotel accommodation and the opportunity to travel to Toulouse with the team collecting the aircraft.

The contest opened on August 3 and closes on August 16, 2026.

Sanjiv Kapoor, flyadeal acting Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President Strategies at Saudia Group, said: “Creativity community engagement, and a passion to make air travel accessible to all are central to flyadeal’s identity and brand mission. As we prepare to welcome our 50th aircraft next year, we wish to meaningfully celebrate the beginning of the next chapter of flyadeal’s growth journey with our customers, stakeholders, and enthusiasts around the world. This is a rare chance for them to leave their mark on our story by having their imagination displayed on a flying canvas that will be seen by thousands across our network every day and to be part of a landmark moment in Saudi aviation.” -TradeArabia News Service
