Senior Saudi, UAE officials reaffirm close bilateral ties

Senior Saudi and United Arab Emirates officials on Tuesday reaffirmed the close ties between the two Gulf nations, highlighting their shared history, deep-rooted brotherly relations and the role of their leadership in advancing regional prosperity.

The messages, posted by Saudi Minister of Media Salman Al-Dosary and Abdulla bin Mohammed Alhamed, Chairman of the UAE National Media Authority, underscored the strength of Saudi-UAE relations and called for responsible media coverage.

Al-Dosary said relations between the Kingdom and the UAE are rooted in a shared history and heritage, urging responsible media to counter misleading narratives and ensure accurate reporting on ties between the two countries.

In a post carrying nearly identical wording, Alhamed described Emirati-Saudi relations as an extension of a shared history and deep-rooted fraternal ties between two brotherly peoples united by a common destiny. He said the relationship is further strengthened by the wise leadership of both countries, which continues to work in close coordination with a clear vision for a future of prosperity for their peoples and the wider region.

Both officials also stressed the responsibility of the media to reflect this reality objectively and to confront attempts to undermine it. - TradeArabia News Service
