Accor and Egyptian real estate developer Trust Contracting and Real Estate Investment Company have signed an agreement to develop ibis North Coast Sidi Kerir, a new 200-key hotel scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2029.

The project supports the transformation of Egypt’s North Coast into a year-round tourism destination and strengthens Accor’s expansion strategy across Egypt and the Middle East and North Africa region.

Located in the seafront area of Sidi Kerir, around 40 minutes west of Alexandria, the hotel will benefit from access to major transport links, including the Alexandria–Marsa Matrouh International Coastal Road and Borg El Arab International Airport.

The development comes as Egypt’s North Coast attracts rising investment and international interest, driven by major projects in destinations such as Ras El Hekma, Marassi and New Alamein.

 Accor said the ibis brand will bring affordable, reliable international hospitality standards to one of the country’s fastest-growing tourism markets.
