Kuwait Airways has received an initiative from BNK Automotive to enhance the level of services provided to the national carrier’s guests and elevate the hospitality experience at the new VIP lounge at Kuwait International Airport.
The initiative includes providing a fleet of premium and
sustainable vehicles to serve the lounge’s guests, reflecting the modern image
of the State of Kuwait and keeping pace with the highest international
standards in luxury, hospitality and transportation.
The two parties met at the Kuwait Airways’ headquarters, in
the presence of Kuwait Airways Acting Chief Executive Officer, Abdulwahab
Al-Shatti and BNK Automotive Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mishal Al-Safran,
along with senior executives from both sides.
Al-Shatti expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to
BNK Automotive for this distinguished national initiative, emphasising that
this cooperation reflects the spirit of integration between private sector
companies and national institutions, contributing to the development process
and enhancing the quality of services provided across various sectors.
Al-Shatti added that Kuwait Airways is continuously
committed to developing the travel experience and improving the level of
services provided to its customers and guests, noting that this initiative will
contribute to providing an integrated and distinguished hospitality experience
for the passengers of the new VIP lounge, in line with the national carrier’s
status and its ambition to provide services that meet the highest international
standards.
Al-Shatti pointed out that this initiative represents a
commendable model of efforts between the public and private sectors and
reflects the national responsibility of leading Kuwaiti companies in supporting
state institutions and their strategic projects. He also commended the role of
BNK Automotive in supporting initiatives that serve Kuwait and enhance its
standing across various sectors.
Al-Safran, affirmed that this initiative stems from the
company’s belief in the importance of supporting leading national institutions,
foremost among them Kuwait Airways, as the national carrier of the State of
Kuwait and one of the most prominent national establishments representing the
country to the world.
Al-Safran explained that the company was keen to provide a
fleet of vehicles that combines luxury and sustainability to keep pace with the
distinguished level of services provided by Kuwait Airways to its guests,
noting that the initiative includes Volvo XC90 vehicles and Polestar 2 electric
cars, in addition to technical support and periodic maintenance in line with
the highest international standards to ensure their readiness and operational
efficiency.
Al-Safran emphasised that BNK Automotive will continue to support national initiatives that contribute to developing services and strengthening the State of Kuwait's position.
