Suhail Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, said global energy demand is witnessing steady growth driven by the expanding needs of artificial intelligence (AI) and large-scale data centres, forecasting increased demand across all energy sources, including fossil fuels, which remain part of the global energy mix. Abdulla Al Marri, Minister of Economy & Tourism, said that hotel occupancy rates in the UAE reached 79.3 per cent during the first ten months of 2025, up from 78 per cent last year, ranking among the highest regionally and globally.
