SalamAir, Oman’s low-cost carrier, commenced operations to Mogadishu, Somalia, today (September 3), introducing a new direct air link between the capitals of Oman and Somalia.
Oman’s low-cost carrier SalamAir has launched its first direct flight between Muscat and Sylhet, Bangladesh, becoming the first foreign airline to operate scheduled services to the city.
SalamAir will establish Salalah’s first airline base, strengthening Dhofar’s international connectivity. The Oman carrier will initially operate direct flights to Jeddah, Chattogram and Calicut, with services scheduled to begin in late October 2026.
