Masdar and RWE signed a Memorandum of Understanding to advance renewables in Germany and Europe. They will jointly explore investments in battery energy storage systems (BESS), with Masdar potentially investing up to 1 GW in existing projects by 2030 and co-developing new projects up to 1 GW by 2035.
KKR, a global investment firm, and RWE, one of the global leading renewable energy companies, announced a strategic partnership to jointly realise RWE’s UK Norfolk Vanguard East and Norfolk Vanguard West offshore wind projects. The two new wind farms will have a combined generation capacity of approximately 3GW.
