The GCC and North Africa have about $90 billion worth of hotel and resort projects in the pipeline, adding nearly 200,000 rooms to the region’s existing supply, with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia accounting for around half of this (110,000 rooms), said a report released ahead of a key industry event in Dubai.

Expro has commenced operations under a four-year contract worth approximately $380 million with a major North African operator to provide production optimisation and well management services across multiple fields.
Boeing has appointed Fahad Al Mheiri as its new Vice President for the Middle East Gulf and North Africa region, starting in January. Based in Dubai, Al Mheiri succeeds Kuljit Ghata-Aura, who has moved into a new executive role with the company.
