Boursa Kuwait, the country's stock exchange, said it has won approval from the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) for its proposed rule amendments, alongside the issuance of a resolution establishing a comprehensive regulatory and legislative framework for bonds and sukuk.
Trolley General Trading, a leading convenience-led grocery retailer based in Kuwait City has begun trading on Boursa Kuwait’s Premier Market, raising gross proceeds of KD59.5 million ($195 million). Based on the final offer price, its market capitalisation now stands at KD170 million ($552.6 million).
Boursa Kuwait has signed a strategic partnership with Injaz Kuwait, a non-profit organisation, to launch four specialised programmes that will aim to empower more than 800 students with financial knowledge and entrepreneurial skills in 2026.
Action Energy Company (AEC), a leading Kuwaiti onshore drilling and oilfield services provider, has begun trading on Boursa Kuwait’s Premier Market following the completion of its private placement. It raised KD55.1 million ($180 million) from local and international investors.
