ACME supports successful MEET ICT & BITEX 2026

ACME (Almoayyed Computers Middle East) joined MEET ICT Conference and BITEX Exhibition 2026 as a Silver Sponsor, supporting the successful 14th edition of Bahrain’s established technology gathering.

Held on October 27 and 28 at the Gulf Convention Centre, Gulf Hotel Bahrain, the event brought together technology professionals, business leaders, government representatives, ICT companies and innovators under the theme “AI: Driving the Digital Economy of Tomorrow.”

Organised by the Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH), in collaboration with WorkSmart for Events Management, MEET ICT & BITEX 2026 provided a platform for the regional technology community to exchange expertise, explore emerging solutions and build connections around the future of digital transformation.

The event was officially opened by Dr Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications of the Kingdom of Bahrain, highlighting the importance of technology and innovation in supporting the Kingdom’s digital ambitions.

ACME’s participation as a Silver Sponsor reflected the company’s continued commitment to supporting Bahrain’s technology ecosystem and contributing to conversations around digital transformation across the GCC. As an established technology company in Bahrain, ACME’s involvement added to the strong industry participation that helped make this year’s conference and exhibition a valuable meeting point for businesses, solution providers and decision-makers.

The 2026 edition featured conference discussions on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data and analytics, digital infrastructure and other technologies transforming the way organisations operate and deliver services. Alongside the conference, BITEX gave participating companies an opportunity to present technology solutions, engage with prospective customers and partners, and explore new business opportunities in the local and regional market.

The event concluded successfully following two days of engagement and knowledge-sharing, including a second day of practical workshops that attracted full attendance. The strong participation from CIOs, delegates and technology professionals reflected the appetite across the region for actionable insights into AI and enterprise innovation.

WorkSmart for Events Management and BTECH extend their appreciation to ACME for its valuable support as a Silver Sponsor and for contributing to the success of MEET ICT & BITEX 2026. The organisers also thanked all sponsors, partners, exhibitors, speakers, moderators, panellists, workshop trainers, delegates and visitors whose participation helped make the 14th edition a successful celebration of collaboration and technological progress.

Through its continued engagement with the technology community, ACME reinforces the importance of collaboration in advancing digital capabilities and supporting a forward-looking digital economy for Bahrain and the wider GCC.

In its pre-event statement, Zainab Shabib, Marketing & Communications Lead at ACME, highlighted the value of MEET ICT and BITEX in bringing the region’s technology community together and noted the platform’s relevance to ACME’s focus on digital transformation and showcasing AI innovations across the GCC. – TradeArabia News Service
