Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) recorded 2,402 passenger complaints against national airlines in August 2026, with flight-related issues accounting for the largest share, followed by baggage services and ticketing.
General Authority of Civil Aviation said Saudia recorded the
lowest complaint rate among national carriers, at 22 complaints per 100,000
passengers, and resolved 100% of cases.
Riyadh Air ranked second with 52 complaints per 100,000
passengers and a 97% resolution rate, while flynas ranked third with 57
complaints and a 100% resolution rate.
flyadeal recorded 108 complaints per 100,000 passengers,
with a 97% resolution rate.
Among international airports handling more than six million
passengers annually, King Khalid International Airport posted the lowest rate,
with 11 complaints per 100,000 passengers and a 100% resolution rate.
Taif International Airport had the lowest rate among
airports handling fewer than six million passengers, with one complaint per
100,000 passengers.
Wadi Al-Dawasir Airport recorded the lowest rate among
domestic airports, at seven complaints per 100,000 passengers.
GACA said the monthly rankings aim to promote transparency
