Saudi Arabia will host the second TOURISE Summit in Riyadh from March 23-25, 2027, under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Tourism Minister and TOURISE Chairman Ahmed Al-Khateeb
announced the event, which will be held under the theme “Alliances That Move
the World.”
The three-day summit will bring together public and private
sector leaders from tourism, technology, investment, sustainability, culture,
mobility and government to address opportunities and challenges shaping the
industry.
Building on the inaugural TOURISE Summit in November 2025
and a year of collaboration, the 2027 edition will focus on partnerships,
investment and initiatives aimed at advancing global tourism over the next 50
years.
At the inaugural summit, TOURISE announced $113 billion in
portfolio investments across hotels, integrated destinations, wellness, retail,
talent development and artificial intelligence-powered platforms. ‘The
investments highlighted the potential of public-private partnerships to
translate tourism ambitions into projects and action.
Initial speakers for the 2027 summit include leaders from
Marriott, Wego, Switzerland Tourism and Technogym, with additional speakers
expected to be announced.
The summit is supported by partners and sponsors including stc,
Dar Al Arkan, Qiddiya City, Saudia, Red Sea Global, Almosafer and Snapchat,
alongside several Saudi development and tourism organizations.
TOURISE is overseen by a Board of Trustees chaired by
Al-Khateeb and comprising international experts from tourism, hospitality,
travel, entertainment and media. Stakeholders can request invitations to
participate in the 2027 summit.
Al Khateeb said: “The future of tourism will be shaped not
by any single destination, company or institution, but by the strength of the
alliances we build between the public and private sector. Saudi Arabia has seen
firsthand what becomes possible when ambition, investment and partnership move
together. Through TOURISE, we are taking that experience to the global stage,
connecting leaders across sectors and markets to turn shared ambition into
action. In March, we invite the world to Riyadh to build the alliances that will
shape the next 50 years of tourism.”
Gloria Guevara, President and CEO of the World Travel and Tourism Council, and panelist at today’s announcement, added: “The next chapter of tourism will be defined by collaboration at a scale we have never seen before. ‘Alliances That Move the World’ captures the opportunity before us: to connect industries, capital and ideas in ways that create meaningful progress for destinations, businesses and communities. TOURISE creates the space for leaders to move beyond discussion and work together on practical solutions for the future of travel.” -TradeArabia News Service
