Cloudbeds launches new revenue management system for hotels

Cloudbeds, the hospitality management system for hoteliers, has launched Cloudbeds RMS, a new revenue management system designed to help hotels make faster and more informed pricing decisions.

The system combines real-time property performance, market intelligence, pricing recommendations and automated rate execution in a single connected platform.

Built on Cloudbeds’ unified data platform, Signals, Cloudbeds RMS uses information already generated across hotel operations rather than treating pricing as a standalone function.

The system evaluates reservations, booking pace, occupancy, time to arrival, length of stay and channel behavior alongside competitor rates and market demand.

This broader data set is designed to provide greater context for forecasts and pricing recommendations.

“Hoteliers shouldn’t need a large revenue team or a complex technology stack to make sophisticated revenue decisions,” said Jason Richards, Chief Business Officer of Cloudbeds. “Cloudbeds RMS brings the intelligence behind those decisions into the hotel’s everyday operation, helping teams understand what is changing, know what action to take and move faster, while staying in control of their strategy.”

Cloudbeds said the system offers automated rate changes while allowing hotels to maintain control through predefined strategies, pricing limits and exceptions.

Its Autopilot feature manages routine adjustments within those parameters, with teams able to intervene when required.

As the system is integrated into the Cloudbeds platform, approved and automated rate changes can flow directly through its property management system and channel manager, shortening the process from identifying pricing opportunities to taking action.

Cloudbeds RMS also provides hotels with additional ways to respond to changing demand. Forecast and occupancy insights can support targeted marketing through Cloudbeds Guest Marketing, particularly during periods of softer demand. -TradeArabia News Service
