Atara Development is advancing the next phase of The Residences at Sheraton Al Marjan Island Resort, refining its residential offering as Al Marjan Island strengthens its position as an emerging tourism, hospitality and real estate destination in the UAE.
Launched in January, the project is progressing on site,
with construction advancing across shoring, piling and foundation works.
Atara has also revised the residential mix, introducing a
more focused collection of premium and luxury one- and two-bedroom residences
designed to offer a wider range of layouts and sizes.
The development currently comprises 168 fully furnished,
Sheraton-branded residences. One-bedroom units average between 700 and 950 sq.
ft., while two-bedroom residences range from approximately 1,150 to 1,380 sq.
ft.
The project features direct beachfront access, private beach
facilities, resort-style amenities, rooftop lifestyle spaces, wellness
facilities and hotel-style services.
The latest phase was showcased to Dubai’s real estate
community at Atara Development’s dedicated presence at DPS Property Exhibition Centre.
Umid Bazarov, Chief
Operating Officer at Atara Development, presented the updated Sheraton
Residences offering and outlined its positioning within the rapidly developing
Al Marjan Island market.
The event also featured Khaled Assaf, Commercial Director at
Marjan, who discussed Ras Al Khaimah’s expanding tourism and hospitality
ecosystem, growing investor interest and the emirate’s evolving real estate
market.
He also highlighted
Al Marjan Island’s role in the wider development story.
The island is gaining momentum through new hospitality
investments, infrastructure development and the arrival of major destinations,
including Wynn Al Marjan Island.
The expanding presence of international hospitality brands
is further raising the destination’s profile among investors, residents and
international visitors.
The Residences at Sheraton Al Marjan Island Resort is
positioned as the GCC’s first Sheraton-branded residences, combining the global
recognition of the Sheraton brand with Atara’s experience in waterfront
residential development.
The project also marks an expansion of Atara’s portfolio
beyond its established waterfront developments in Dubai, including Pearl
Jumeirah, into larger-scale, branded and island-led communities.
With construction progressing and its residential offering evolving, the project enters its next phase against the backdrop of Ras Al Khaimah’s growing investment and tourism ambitions. -TradeArabia News Service
