Saudia, almatar sign MoU to expand travel options, digital services

Saudi Arabia’s national flag carrier, Saudia, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with almatar to expand travel options and enhance guest benefits through digital platforms and solutions.

The agreement, signed during WTM Spotlight Riyadh 2026, aims to simplify booking procedures and provide travelers with a more flexible and integrated experience.

It was signed by Arved von zur Muehlen, Chief Commercial Officer at Saudia, and Faisal Alrajhi, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of almatar.

Under the agreement, Saudia guests will have access to preferential fares, as well as greater flexibility to amend or cancel bookings, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

The benefits are designed to accommodate different travel needs and support passengers throughout their journey, from planning and booking to arrival.

The partnership will also extend to users of the Nusuk platform, offering additional travel options for pilgrims visiting the Kingdom.

The collaboration supports efforts to enhance the pilgrimage experience through integrated digital services.

Saudia said the partnership reflects its broader strategy of expanding service access through strategic collaborations and digital solutions, giving guests greater choice and a more connected travel experience. -TradeArabia News Service
