Subsea7 has secured a sizeable contract from LLOG Exploration Company, a Harbour Energy subsidiary, for the Who Dat East development in the US Gulf.

Located in lease MC 509-1 at around 1,300 metres water depth, the project includes fabrication, transport and installation of a 29-kilometre steel catenary riser and pipe-in-pipe to the Who Dat floating production system, alongside umbilical and subsea controls installation.

Project management and engineering will begin immediately in Houston, with offshore activities scheduled to commence in 2028.
