Intersolar Middle East to spotlight solar, storage and energy transition

Intersolar Middle East 2026 will bring together solar and renewable energy industry leaders in Dubai next month, with the three-day conference focusing on the region's accelerating energy transition, energy security and the growing role of solar power and energy storage.

The event will take place from September 1-3 at Dubai World Trade Centre as part of the 50th edition of Middle East Energy.

Organisers expect more than 1,500 exhibitors across 18 halls and more than 35,000 visitors across the combined event.

Intersolar Middle East will be located in Hall 6 and the Pavilion Hall, showcasing technologies and solutions spanning solar power, energy storage and related renewable energy applications.

The three-day Intersolar conference will feature more than 40 expert speakers addressing key developments in the MENA energy sector, including solar photovoltaic (PV), battery energy storage systems (BESS), grid modernisation, electrification and the integration of large-scale renewable energy into power systems.

Among the sessions scheduled for September 1 is “Solar Powering the Global Energy Transition,” which will examine the role of solar energy in the global shift towards sustainable power. Another session, “Solar Market Outlook 2026-2030,” will explore market opportunities, challenges and technology developments expected to shape the sector over the next five years.

The conference will also feature case studies on solar mega-projects and commercial and industrial (C&I) projects, providing insights into major solar developments transforming energy markets across the region.

The event comes as Gulf and wider MENA markets accelerate investment in renewable generation and energy storage while seeking to strengthen power security and reduce dependence on conventional energy sources.

Organisers said the conference programme would provide a platform for industry leaders and technical experts to discuss the technologies and market trends expected to influence the region's energy landscape.

Visitor access to the exhibition floor and the Intersolar Middle East Conference will be free with registration.
